เนื้อหาย่อ : Ms book is primarily meant for the first year undergraduate students of the course on Workshop Having evolved from the two volumes of my books, Workshop Technology (Vols I ad il, this book incorporates most of the suggestions that I have been receiving over the years hhume de teachers and students using my earlier books. I am happy to present a concise textbook on wbet Workshop Practice, including chapters on Measuring Instruments and Pipes and Pipe Fanp De sudy of Workshop Practice acts as the basis for further technical studies. This book gives ar prception to build technical knowledge by acting as a guide for imparting fundamental knowl- aoout different types of materials used in industry and methods by which they can be pro- aed It also gives the effects of properties on materials by different processes. Keuetrous neatly drawn illustrations provided in the text will help the students in understanding ar sbjct, and the concepts related to it, better. The international system of units as recom- sended by the 15th General Conference on Weights and Measures, May-June 1975, and sanc- ened by the International Standard Organization (ISO) has been used throughout the book. This ee is rapidly replacing the MKS system being used in India. I would like to express my sincere thanks to my friends and colleagues for their consistent spurt. I am also thankful to my publishers, Tata McGraw-Hill, for their effort towards bringing dis book in a short time. Suggestions for improvement in this book will be thankfully ledged and incorporated in the next edition.
