เนื้อหาย่อ : The purpose of this book is to give a broad introduction to the use of industrial electronic circuits and equipment. It is intended for use as a text in electronic technology and survey courses offered by technical institutes, junior and community colleges, and universities, and for training programs in This edition continues the trend toward the use of more solid-state circuits d few electron tubes. Solid-state devices and integrated circuits dominate elve chapters and are included in four more. While we often refer to sections or figures that appear in preceding hapters for the convenience of the reader, the text does not necessarily ve to be followed sequentially. New chapters 13 to 16 include the conversion of information and the use memory systems, microprocessors, and programmable controllers. We do survey many variations of a certain circuit by other makers, but try to e students the intuitive "feel'' of that circuit before they advance to ystems in Chapters 15 and 16. Rather than favor one logic family over other, we select the family that most effectively demonstrates the rinciples of the circuit, and also is prevalent in the industry. We describe ose memory systems that are needed to understand their use in the cceeding chapters. This text is not a programming manual but tries to give enough ckground to whet the student's curiosity to consult many sources on ogramming and microprocessors. Chapters 28, 29, and 30 permit an understanding of closed-loop systems servo analysis at a level that does not require an advanced mathematical ckground. While arithmetic is sufficient for solution of most problems in book, Chapter 28 and a few sections elsewhere require some additional dvanced mathematics. dustry.
