เนื้อหาย่อ : The present treatise provides the fundamental disciplines for students of polytechnies in the L.M.E., L.E.E., and L.C.E. streams, National Certifcate Course, Junior Technical Schools, B.O.A.T. Apprentices Schools in Railways, Ordnance Factories etc. The Intermediate Engineering students and those appearing for sec. B of A.M.I.E., may also refer this book for the fundamentals. More stress has been laid on practical aspects. The diagrams are illustra- tive. M.K.S. system has been followed throughout. Polytechnics, Junior Technical Schools and Apprentices Sehools are being established in the country in increasing numbers and the need for one more book may be justifed. Suggestions for improvement will be thankfully received. Assistance derived from text books written by D. A. Low, L. H. Lewitt, A. J. Richmond, D.A.
