Liebherr is the Supervisor of BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE: INVITATIONS TO DISCOVERY, a biology teacher, and a department chairman at Nicolet High School, Glendale, Wisconsin. He has worked closely with the BSCS since 1961. He has been the Supervisor of Biological Science: Patterns and Processes, has served on many committees of the BSCS, and was an evaluation teacher for the Yellow Version. Thomas Allen is currently teaching at Florida State University while working toward a doctoral degree in science education. He taught high school biology for twelve years and has worked on various BSCS writing teams. He was a member of the BSCS staff during the 1973-1974 school year. Lloyd Hauge is a biology teacher at Central High School in West Allis, Wisconsin. He has taught Biological Science: Patterns and Processes for several years. Roger Kleese is a member of the Department of Biology at Macalester College, St. Paul, Minnesota. His research interest is in the field of plant genetics. Dorothy Schlitt is an Associate Professor of Science Education at Florida State University. She has been a test teacher for the Blue Version and a contributor to various BSCS projects. She has conducted many NSF programs for high school teachers and science supervisors. Her current research interest is in teacher classroom behaviors. The BSCS Staff ADDISON E.
